So back when I was a junior in college, Faith was my roommate. We lived in a brand new building and they wanted to keep it looking perfect, so the school cleaned our private bathroom…aah…those were the days, haha!

So of course I was very excited to find out that Faith had moved back to Florida and was getting married! After several years of not seeing each other, she definitely looks exactly the same in the very best way!

I just met Leo, but I love that he seems like the perfect compliment to Faith’s fun, independent spirit. Their wedding was a very intimate ceremony on Siesta Key Beach followed by a dinner with their loved ones at the restaurant Cork in Sarasota, which by the way has a great vibe and atmosphere! It rained all day, and the skies were still pretty gray during the ceremony, but the rain held off long enough for them to exchange their vows in poetry and say “I DO!”

The beautiful Mirror Lake Lyceum was the perfect backdrop to this lovely vintage themed wedding. Every detail just proved to me that Megan is a girl after my own heart…from the incredible dessert bar (seriously incredible!) to the beautiful vintage decor, it was all just my style!

The ceremony took place under an intricately carved archway in the Lyceum and then the guest headed downstairs for an Old Cuba themed cocktail hour…loved the dominoe games set out on the tables. It makes our job so much easier when the people we’re shooting are enthusiastic and fun, and this wedding was particularly fabulous because the guests were fun and lively and the couple was so in love. A great combination for amazing photos!

As if Megan’s wedding gown wasn’t gorgeous enough, she changed during the reception into a beautiful silver gown that was the essence of old glamor. An old pulley elevator made the perfect corner for a series of dramatic portraits with Mark and Megan.

Mark & Megan, as always you two were wonderful to work with! I will definitely be showcasing your event at every opportunity!

Kristen found me some time ago at a bridal show and from our very first meeting, I could tell she was such a sweetheart! I met Jimmy a few months ago when I shot their E-Session and I was so happy to see that he was the perfect complement for my super sweet bride! I love that I have such wonderful people for my clients!

We’ve had some ridiculously hot days this summer, so Kristen was worried that we’d have to move her ceremony indoors, but just before the ceremony some clouds rolled in took the edge off the heat, and amazingly the rain held out until we were done with the ceremony and all of our outdoor portaits! I love when that happens!!

It was a pleasure to work with DJ Kelly Suit of A Premier Entertainment. Its so true that a good DJ can make or break a party!
