Back in September, my good friend and amazing second shooter, Rachel shot her first wedding as the primary shooter for Tina Sargeant Photography! Rachel has been working with me on most of my weddings for several months now, so when I had the opportunity to nudge her into a leading role in photography, I was thrilled! I accompanied Rachel on this wedding, partly for her nerves…shooting your first wedding as the main photographer is very nerve racking! But I also accompanied her because she was very pregnant while shooting this wedding! Its been so exciting to have Rachel on my team! She’s a huge asset and its been so incredible watching her work grow and improve!

Crystal and Sean are absolutely adorable and their wedding could not have been more beautiful! Two Sisters Event Design did an amazing job putting this wedding together, and Rachel and I absolutely loved working with them!!

In October I had the privilege of co-hosting a baby shower at my home for two of my dearest friends! This is the first baby for both of them, and both were expecting little girls with due dates within days of each other…and since Meghan just had her baby this week…I know Rachel’s is soon to be joining us!

All I can say is that I have the most amazing friends and so many of them came together to work on planning and preparing for this little garden party baby shower. Amber, Jessica(s)-(both of you!), and Tiffany you ladies are incredibly creative, patient, and detailed and I love how everything turned out! And tons of thanks to Amber who I passed off my camera to while I finished getting dressed…she captured the amazing detail shots you see of the shower, and she did an amazing job! You got skills girl! And of course I’m always grateful to Beverly who is the queen of party food and always feeds us well!

Hooray for bellies, and babies!

I hate to admit that I’m waay beinhd in my blog posts! Lillian and Alfredo were married in September in Lakeland, and I was honored to be a part of their beautiful day! Lilly’s sister Angeli from Angelic Weddings did a beautiful job coordinating the wedding other than a slight issue with grooms pants being a bit long and needing some last minute stitching, the day went perfectly Without a doubt, my favorite part was during the ceremony when they recited to each other passages from the tender and loving poetry of the Song of Solomon. It was just beautiful and they were adorably enthusiastic!

Congrats you two! I hope Texas is treating you well!
